Alan Gratz will visit Napa County on February 11, 2019: “A Conversation with Alan Gratz”. Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater. This event is appropriate for adults and students. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Napa County Reads program.

Join author Alan Gratz to discuss his action-packed novel “Refugee”, which tackles topics both timely and timeless: courage, survival, and the quest for home. The audience will also briefly hear from speakers with connections to the time periods in the story.
At 6:00 pm the author’s reception in the lobby will include book signing with the author, passed appetizers influenced by the countries featured in the book, information from local organizations that support immigrant and refugee populations, and student art.
